Darius Jazayeri
Principal Architect, Global Health
Darius is a co-founder of and long-time contributor to the OpenMRS medical record system.
Today he is the Ecosystem Lead for Bahmni, an open-source Hospital Management System. In this role he coordinates interactions between software development teams, community contributors, implementation partners, and other open-source communities.
He has advised other open-source projects like OpenLMIS, OpenSRP, and OCL on structuring their communities to encourage contributions and generate maximum impact, and he architected the tablet-based electronic medical record we build for use in Ebola treatment centers.
Prior to joining Thoughtworks, Darius spent 14 years developing and deploying EMRs for international healthcare NGOs.
