Yes. You will receive a fixed payment of INR 20,000 for the duration of the training. If you are selected for the internship, you will receive a stipend of INR 40,000 per month for the six month internship.
Vapasi, an initiative from Thoughtworks, helps experienced women technologists who are currently on a career break resume their tech journeys. The last 21 batches of Vapasi, tailored for developers and quality analysts, saw more than 250 women participate in the returnee program. Many of our Vapasi graduates are enjoying productive career paths at Thoughtworks and other companies.
We are now expanding the scope and opening this program to Women or Gender Diverse individuals.
Our approach
Training
This Thoughtworks certified training program strengthens technical and consulting skills while building confidence through networking with senior technologists. It includes hands on sessions, mentoring, and opportunities to interact with leaders and peers.
The training is free of charge. Trainees also receive INR 20,000 for the duration of the program to help cover their expenses.
Internship
Selected candidates will receive a six month, fixed term paid internship, gaining valuable experience working on a Thoughtworks project. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge technology projects and learn agile software development methodologies and practices. A dedicated mentor will be assigned to help you navigate and support your learning journey, while also giving you the opportunity to experience our inclusive workplace culture.
Hire
A full time position at Thoughtworks will be offered after successful completion of the six month internship. This will be based on your performance and feedback during the internship, as well as the business demand for the role.
