Diversity and Inclusion, and Education and Career Development are Thoughtworks’ Greatest Strengths According to Employees
Thoughtworks, a global technology company headquartered in Chicago, today announced it was named one of “Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® ” by the National Association of Business Resources (NABR). The Best and Brightest program identifies, recognizes, and celebrates the most influential, trend-setting companies that distinguish themselves by delivering exceptional human resource practices and commitment to their employees.
“Thoughtworks is helping to change the perception of what it means to be a technologist. With a technical staff that is 33% female and growing everyday, we are proud of the progress we have made to break the glass ceiling, but the challenge is far from over”, said Joanna Parke, Managing Director of Thoughtworks. “We are delighted to be recognized by NABR as an innovative organization. As part of our goal to empower people through technology, we are constantly looking at ways to give back to our local community through supporting programs like i.c.stars; a not-for-profit devoted to identifying, training, and jump-starting technology careers for Chicago-area low-income young adults.”
“We are honored to recognize the efforts of this year's Best and Brightest companies. These companies have created impressive organizational value and business results through their policies and best practices in human resource management,” said Jennifer Kluge, president of the National Association for Business Resources.
