Prabhakar has 26+ years of professional experience, including more than two decades as a domain expert in BFSI. He has consulted and worked with many large BFSI customers as a domain expert as well as in other roles in insurance, banking, retail financing, lending, wealth and digital banking for companies like MSIG Insurance, Standard Chartered Bank in SEA region, RSA, HDFC Ergo, HDFC Standard Life, Kotak Life in India, The Hartford Insurance, Argo in the USA, Zurich Financial Services in Europe, and Suncorp Insurance and Suncorp Wealth in Australia and many Takaful Insurers in SEA, Middle East and investment companies in Africa region.

He has engaged with client CXOs to bring their strategy and vision to fruition through technology transformation. Besides many recognitions in the organizations that he worked, Prabhakar has been nominated for the “Excellence” awards instituted by the client CEOs of some of these organizations for his contributions in some of these projects.

Through his career spanning over two and half decades, he has worked with organizations like NTT Data, Wipro and Bosch, and apart from primarily being a domain SME, he has played global roles as a products business unit head where he managed business P&L; a general manager leading innovation team filing multiple intellectual patents; a practice head of insurance domain vertical; managed services enabler; business engagement manager; a transformation partner, client partner and many more. He has spent over a decade working directly at customer locations in the USA, Singapore and Malaysia.
