Keynote: Megatrends that will transform the business landscape this decade
Megatrends are cranking up the pressure on businesses and governments – including economic turmoil, geopolitical shifts, climate crisis, an aging population and the next wave of digital innovation. At the same time, executives face increasing pressure to deliver a more inclusive, citizen-driven, sustainable economy where companies positively impact the environment and society, while also benefiting shareholders.
In this keynote presentation, Nigel Dalton, Social Scientist at Thoughtworks, will shed light on the
inflection points developing that will reshape the business landscape in the decade ahead. These influences will drive a tidalwave of disruption in the way organizations operate – from risk management, to supply chain, and ultimately the bottom line.
What does 'future you' wish you'd started thinking about, planning for, and investing in, way back in 2023? Come along to find out!

- React decisively to shorter-term disruptions that can be turned into future opportunities.
- Anticipate changes in regulations, technology, and customer demands, and work hard to meet these challenges head-on.
- Consider and prepare for the macro factors reshaping business, such as economic turmoil, climate change, and an aging population.
- Understand what, when and how key technologies will impact their strategic ambitions in the coming years.
