Hamburg, the city close to the Elbe is an important North German port city. Economically and scientifically, the metropolis is particularly important in the fields of aerospace technology, life sciences and information technology as well as for the consumer goods industry. Boats sail on the Binnenalster, which is close to the city centre, and there are numerous cafés around the reservoir. The Jungfernstieg connects the New Town with the Old Town and was the first asphalted road in all of Germany: It was built in 1838. Hamburg also has the deepest underground station in Germany: The 'Messehallen' station of the U2 line is 26 metres below the ground.
We moved into our new Hamburg office in 2020. The premises are located in the Caffamacherreihe. It's a happy coincidence that this makes us the neighbors of the 'Gängeviertel'. The Gängeviertel is an association of artists, political activists and socially committed people who organize exhibitions, concerts, parties and readings and discuss urban development.
