This blip is not on the current edition of the Radar. If it was on one of the last few editions it is likely that it is still relevant. If the blip is older it might no longer be relevant and our assessment might be different today. We have regularly used New Relic hosted performance monitoring with Ruby on Rails systems in development and production. The combination of fast setup and comprehensive reporting has proven extremely valuable in troubleshooting performance. We are now seeing good results from the New Relic monitoring services for Java and .NET systems.
