Natasha Elisa Jimenez
Software ConsultantI am passionate about advocating for social change and believe technology can be a powerful tool for use in catalyzing positive change. Before joining Thoughtworks I worked as a translator and organizer for Justicia for Migrant Workers, an organization that promotes the rights of temporary agricultural foreign workers in Canada. In 2013 I facilitated social justice solidarity delegations to Guatemala and the Dominican Republic for King's College, learning from and working with marginalized populations.
As a Thoughtworks Software developer, I work with mobile technology to aid migrant and refugee communication. I traveled to Turkey for the World Humanitarian Summit and visited two refugee camps in Greece, on my journey to gain insight into the current refugee crisis. I hope to see a larger convergence of the tech and humanitarian communities in the struggle to end human suffering.
