Lisa is responsible for developing Thoughtworks’ corporate sustainability strategy, driving the company’s operationalization of our science based carbon targets in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement. Integrating sustainability culture into business decisions, she and her team partner with functions across the company to implement complementary initiatives that minimize Thoughtworks’ environmental footprint and enhance business performance.

In her previous role at Thoughtworks, Lisa established a regional service line leading thought leadership and bringing to market strategies at the intersection of sustainability, digital transformation, and green computing. Her team developed innovative solutions to help clients leverage open-source technology to embed green tech digital solutions to accelerate their net zero journey.

In her role as a client-facing strategist for more than two decades, Lisa has helped clients integrate energy-aware solutions in the transportation, building, utility and technology sectors, translating climate policy into action. She is co-chair of the Green Software Foundation’s Policy Working Group, a non-profit organization that advances principles, tools and standards for green software.

Lisa holds a MSc in Environmental Management from the University of Oxford, and a BA in Anthropology and BS in Environmental Policy from UC Berkeley.
