Dr Gabriel Hemery is an author, tree photographer and silvologist (forest scientist). He has authored more than 100 scientific articles and written four books, both fiction and non-fiction, including the award-winning The New Sylva. He appears regularly on TV and radio talking about trees and the environment. He co-founded an environmental tree charity, the Sylva Foundation, and currently serves as Chief Executive.
