Nimisha Asthagiri

Nimisha Asthagiri is a Technical Principal and Data Mesh leader at Thoughtworks. She leads organization transformations with strategic combinations of design thinking, change management, experimentation and platform architecture. Prior to Thoughtworks, she was Chief Architect at edX, driving intentional architecture for the next generation of large-scale online learning.

She is a long-term technologist who values innovations that result from the amplification of diverse voices and the synergism of collective strength. She seeks to leverage her experiences, including leading implementation of peer-to-peer cryptographic protocols, for the purpose of human-centric data privacy and ownership.
