Nalinikanth, fondly known as Nal, is an expert in cybersecurity and his current role at Thoughtworks involves advisory on security practices across various projects. His expertise includes timely threat identification, vulnerability management, assessment, building security capabilities, and pioneering security automation. Nal's approach to cybersecurity integrates robust security frameworks directly into application ecosystems, ensuring a secure digital fortification.

Nal has gained extensive experience in DevSecOps, threat modeling, and both defensive and offensive security strategies, with a particular emphasis on web applications, APIs, source code reviews, and cloud infrastructure.

Beyond his hands-on work, Nal is a certified CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) and an AWS cloud security specialist. Nal is the security community lead for Thoughtworks India, where he spearheads initiatives, mentors emerging talent, and helps to drive the cybersecurity agenda forward.

Outside of cybersecurity, Nal is an avid painter and sportsman. He believes that a balanced lifestyle can harmonize the technical and artistic, the professional and personal.
